Two Ideas

A positive point

Puts you in a positive

Frame of mind to live.

A negative notion

Fills your mind with frustration

To force you to die.

So always attempt

To have a positive frame

Of mind to fly up.

So never allow

The wind of negative notion

To cause your down fall.

Success and failure,

Thus, come with the ideas

You always go with.

यूँ कब तलक गिरती रहेंगी लाशें

 यूँ कब तलक गिरती रहेंगी लाशें,

यूँ कब तलक थमती रहेंगी सांसें।

जन्म-मृत्यु का खेल सदा ही देखा,

पर ना देखे यूँ भयावह तमाशे।

सब वाकिफ इस खेल के अंजाम से,

तभी सम्हलकर चल रहे हैं पासे।

कुछ नासमझ तो अभी भी ऐसे हैं, 

जो बजा रहे हैं जड़ता के ताशे।

मर्ज़ तो बहुत समझदार है लगता,

जो रूप बदलकर दे रहे है झांसे।

Poem - Life: A Race

 Life: A Race

-------------------

Life is like a long race course

Where you have to run with force,

Else you'll lose out or be late

Which will throw you out of date.

You will see some stumbling blocks

On the way as throns and rocks

Which will try to hold you back

If you aren't wary of the track.

You will go through up and down

While battling for the bright crown.

If you hold your nerve and fleet,

Triumph will then touch your feet.

Many milestones you will meet

If you power your hand and feet

And let them stay safe and sound

While running along the ground.

When you start running a race,

Run with all passion and pace

So that you may win the race

And medals you may embrace.
